Adding a New MSDS Format

Note: This feature is available only to administrators.

Add a new MSDS format when the existing MSDS formats do not describe all the formats of your products' MSDSs. After the new MSDS format is created, you can:

Select it for one or more products (see Editing a Product's Primary Information);
Focus product searches on it (see Browsing the Product List).

To add a new MSDS format:

Starting at the MSDS Formats page (How do I get there?), do the following:

In the box on the left, click Add MSDS Format.

A field appears for the new format's name.
Enter the new format's name.
Click Save.

The new format is saved and added to the list of Available MSDS Formats. The new format can now be selected for products.
